Wig Care Guide

Washing your wig will maintain the health and sheen of the product.

Washing will:

  1. Keep your wig looking beautiful longer.

  2. Avoid stretching or damaging the cap.

  3. Manage tangles/matting

  4. Reducing shedding & frizz

  5. Restore Luster

Step 1: Detangling

Before washing, it’s best to carefully detangle the hair using a wide-tooth comb starting from the ends of the unit and working towards the roots to prevent access shedding.

Step 2: Rinse

Use lukewarm water and rinse from the roots to the ends. DO NOT soak or rub the wig, as this can lead to tangling.

Step 3: Shampoo

Loosen shampoo by using your hands and work throughout the hair. A Small amount of shampoo can go a long way. Use a circular motion to clean the cap.

Step 4: Conditioning

Using a leave-in condition from the mid-shaft to the ends. DO NOT apply the conditioner to the root - it will undo the knots in the cap and cause a loss of fibers.

If damaged - Use a deep condition.

Step 5: Rinse

Allow lukewarm water to flow in the same direction as the hair to avoid tangling. Squeeze and press the hair; DO NOT wring out the hair.

Step 6: Dry

Blow Dry about 80% and use a round brush until it’s smooth.
